Schedule: 30 hours/week (Monday–Friday). 9-month position
Ottawa County -
Center Aide
Location: Ottawa County, KS
Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday). 9-month position
Supervised by: Site Director
accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and KDHE Licensing. Flexibility and a
willingness to help where needed are key assets needed for this position. The specific job
responsibilities will be assigned by the Education-Transition Coordinator and Site Director (if not
at Clay Center), but could include classroom work, kitchen/meal assistance, cleaning, bus
monitoring/driving, and other duties that may be assigned. Report to work at scheduled times and
maintain good attendance. Perform all duties in a timely and professional manner. Participate with
a positive attitude and behavior in all program activities.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Child Development Associates (CDA)-certified or get CDA within first year and maintain a current CDA valid to the position thereafter.
